This extensive project involved creating a series of over 170 illustrated book covers for Wiser, an application that provides users with access to text and audio summaries of self-help books from its vast collection, covering a wide range of topics from sex and relationships, time management, boosting personal efficiency and financial freedom to insights and new discoveries in psychology and various fields of science.
The primary challenge was to maintain a consistent, minimalistic flat vector style across all illustrations, as per the client’s specific requirements. This approach ensured a cohesive visual identity throughout the app while effectively representing the diverse subject matter of each book.
The project’s considerable scale, spanning more than 7 months, demanded meticulous planning, consistent creativity, and adaptability to represent complex concepts in a simple, visually appealing manner. The resulting collection of illustrations successfully enhances the user experience of the Wiser app, making the content more engaging and accessible to its audience.
